Session Topic: The power of understanding our-selves as relational beings
Mark is a pioneering voice in the emerging field of social mindfulness. He played a key role in establishing the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, where he served as Development Manager until 2013. Recognising the crucial role of social and relational dynamics in mindfulness at work, he created the Mindfulness-Based Organisational Education (MBOE) programme to support wellbeing and performance in healthcare settings. Published in the journal Mindfulness, MBOE is now recognised by European Standards as a novel approach that blends mindfulness with social learning. Mark currently leads the Organisational Mindfulness programme at the Global Mindfulness Academy and is co-editing a book on Social Mindfulness with Dr. Kathirasan K.
